My creative background has spanned over 30 years which includes both photography and advertising design. I fell in love with photography in about 1984 after having grown up in a photographically creative environment. My father (a professional photographer and designer) gave me my first camera, a Minolta 35mm and I spent that summer taking hundreds of B/W shots around D.C. and the Chesapeake Bay.
Through school I continued to focus on art and photography which eventually lead to a career as an Advertising Designer. I was very fortunate to start my career as a Designer before high school graduation and eventually reached my goal of becoming Art Director in my late twenties.
As the digital age was fast approaching in the 90's, a shift was ahead. I transitioned my creative skills towards CD-ROM and web based multimedia, interactive applications where I created, produced and edited hundreds of videos and photos for many different creative and technically challenging projects.
Fast-forward many many years, I'm still shooting and creating, and I'm fortunate enough to expose my own kids to photography and the business side of adversing design and marketing.
